Family Tradition

The business was formed in 1945 by the late Fred Valiant. In 1971 the business was incorporated and continued to develop into the industry-recognised provider of high quality work from a professional firm that it is today.

The company is a member of the National Federation of Builders, a recognised association which protects the interests of the trade.

Skilled Workforce

Over the years the company has built up an extensive network of suppliers and contractors with the necessary skills who can be called upon to assist with servicing the specialist and high quality work undertaken.

The company directly employs carpenters, stonemasons, bricklayers, painters and decorators. It also recognises the importance of bringing new blood into the firm to maintain the skills required in the specialist works undertaken. Accordingly with assistance from the Construction Skills Council the Apprenticeship Scheme is actively used to bring new employees to the company.

The company also directly employees a quantity surveyor and contracts manager, who with many years experience in the industry, have the knowledge base to compliment the company’s requirements.
