F.A. Valiant & Son Ltd are an award winning builder, specialising in the restoration and conservation of churches, historic buildings and exclusive homes throughout East Anglia. We are members of the National Federation of Builders.
The business was formed in 1945 by the late Fred Valiant and has been handed down from father to son for three generations. Renowned for our exacting standards and superior level of service, we are proud to offer traditional craftsmanship together with the latest building techniques.
Our skilled workforce of 45 includes carpenters, stonemasons, bricklayers, flintlayers, painters and decorators and contract managers and quantity surveyors. We also work closely with an extensive network of expert contractors, ensuring our work is always of the highest standard.
With assistance from the Construction Skills Council, we actively implement the Apprenticeship Scheme to bring new employees to the Company.
F.A. Valiant & Son Ltd are member of the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB). Working with the CITB, we offer relevant courses to company employees to maintain and improve their skills. We also actively invest in training for the traditional skills involved in the works we carry out.
We have a fleet of over 25 vehicles, hand-painted in our traditional green and gold colours. Their heritage styling is another demonstration of our commitment to excellent craftsmanship.
Health and Safety
F.A. Valiant & Son are members of the Norwich Building Safety Group. They carry out regular inspections of our sites, providing reports to ensure compliance with current legislation.
